Tuesday Toolbox: Zach DavidsonDecember 12, 2017Despite being a relatively young 15 years old, this championship marks Zachary Davidson’s fourth GNCC championship. The rider from Iron Station, North Carolina is also the 2017 Youth National Champion. I caught up with Zach just after he accepted his award at the GNCC banquet to talk about his season, a recent knee injury, and his plans for next year, which include an Amateur support, ride with Husqvarna USA. Husky’s goal is to mentor Zack and provide him with all the tools he needs to get to the pro level. And that is something that Zach and his family is very excited about. We look forward to hearing more about this young man in the years to come.

GNCC Recognizes Top Racers and Sponsors at 2017 Awards BanquetDecember 6, 2017With all 13 race rounds complete on the 2017 circuit, the annual GNCC Night of Champions took place this past weekend, December 1 and 2, with the ultimate celebration to cap off the season. More than 1,360 racers, family members and fans from all over the country came together in Morgantown, West Virginia at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place to celebrate the prestigious accomplishments of the top 10 racers in each championship class.

Tuesday Toolbox: Jason ThomasDecember 5, 2017Jason Thomas, originally hailing from Machylleth Pow, Wales, United Kingdom, is a multi-time GNCC champion. The 34-year-old’s most recent title is in the brand new FMF XC3 125 Pro-Am class, with two previous titles in the XC2 250 Pro Lites division. This will also be his last GNCC title in a premier class, as he has recently announced his retirement from full-time racing. Expect to see him around though – he does not plan on returning to Great Britain, but will instead remain in Charlotte, North Carolina and focus on his riding schools, while perhaps occasionally hitting a GNCC.
