Quick Fill #38: This Week in GNCCDecember 7, 2017Welcome to Quick Fill.
With the banquet weekend finally coming and going, we can officially close the book on the 2017 GNCC Racing season. There’s no doubt that the season was full of ups and downs but overall it was a pretty exciting season full of record-breaking performances. That kind of excitement also leads us towards the 2018 season with high expectations of great racing, and of course loads of fun as well. Speaking of 2018, Chelsea will have a few details on the 2018 schedule coming up a little later in this week’s edition of Quick Fill, so keep reading ahead to get the details.

Thanksgiving has come and gone as we press through the final portions of 2017. We hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving and no matter if you got in some weekend riding or stayed away from your machines all together, there’s no doubt that everyone involved in the world of GNCC Racing in any aspect has a lot to be thankful for. It’s easy to get caught up in life, let the little issues bother us and forget to take a few moments to remain thankful but just remember, even if you’re able to simply sit there and read this right now, you definitely have a lot to be thankful for.
Quick Fill #36: This Week in GNCCNovember 16, 2017Welcome to Quick Fill.
The off-season continues to roll along as things begin to wind down and while there’s a lot of the off-season racing going on that I mentioned last week, there’s a lot more guys flying under the radar and just enjoying the off-season before jumping head first into prep for 2018. That’s always a pretty exciting time when it rolls around because it’s always cool to see fresh machines, fresh graphics, fresh gear and a fresh start for many.
Quick Fill #35: This Week in GNCCNovember 9, 2017Welcome to Quick Fill.
We’re really only into our second week of the off-season and it seems like there’s already a good number of folks who are ready to get back into the swing of racing. If you fall into that category, well, the only advice I can give is try to settle in and enjoy the off-season because it’s just getting started. In the same flip of the coin, time flies and we’ll be getting ready to kick the 2018 season off before we know it.
Quick Fill #34: This Week in GNCCNovember 2, 2017Welcome to Quick Fill.
Just like that, the 2017 GNCC Racing season has come to a close. Many seem to agree that the season flew by in the blink of an eye, but for others it may have seemed to drag on. Regardless of which category you fall into, 2017 was definitely one for the record books, and I mean that quite literally. History was made in both the ATV and Bike ranks, and then additionally there was history made from the UTV crowd as well. It was also a bit of an up and down season for some folks, as some usual title contenders seemed to struggle at times. Overall, it was a great season and we hope to start 2018 on a high note.
Quick Fill #33: This Week in GNCCOctober 26, 2017Welcome to Quick Fill.
Well, this is it! We approach the final round of the 2017 GNCC Racing season. I know this is said just about every week in Quick Fill, but it’s hard to believe how fast time has flown by. It really does seem like we were just kicking the season off in South Carolina and now we’re already in Indiana finishing up the season. Of course, there’s no better way to cap off the season than at Ironman with a big crowd and a lot of racers.
Quick Fill #32: This Week in GNCCOctober 19, 2017Welcome to Quick Fill.
Another week ticks by and we’re one week closer to the final round of the 2017 season at Ironman. I feel like I’m sitting here about to just reiterate the same things I’ve been saying for weeks but it all holds true. Those things are, for one, it seems like this season has flown by and secondly, Ironman is the absolute perfect place to cap off the season. It’s grown from a single off-road race, to a full-blown festival of sorts and the perfect ending to a great season.
Quick Fill #31: This Week in GNCCOctober 12, 2017Welcome to Quick Fill.
Wow. Only one round remains in the 2017 GNCC Racing season, and it’s the biggest of them all, the Ironman GNCC in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Ironman has grown to be not only the biggest GNCC event of the year, but one of the biggest off-road racing events around. It’s pretty exciting because this is one of the most fun races of the season, but it’s also a little bittersweet as it marks the end of the season. However, time flies and we’ll be rolling into the 2018 before we know it. As for 2018, we’re working out details on next year’s schedule and will have the details on that coming in the next several weeks.
Quick Fill #30: This Week in GNCCOctober 5, 2017Welcome to Quick Fill.
This week’s edition of Quick Fill comes to you live from the Powerline Park GNCC in St. Clairsville, OH. Currently the area is receiving some much, much needed rain, which will help lessen the chances of a complete dust race. However, even with the rain it won’t take long for the course to dry out, so I’d still expect to see some dust this weekend. Thankfully it just won’t be as bad as it could have been. As usual, I’ll have the low-down on the Powerline Park course coming up a little bit later in this week’s edition of Quick Fill. So be sure to read ahead to learn what is in store for this weekend!
Quick Fill #29: This Week in GNCCSeptember 28, 2017Welcome to Quick Fill.
The season rolls on as there are now just two rounds remaining before we close the book on the 2017 GNCC Racing season. I feel like I say this almost every week, but it’s hard to believe that the year has flown by this quickly. It seems like we were just kicking things off in South Carolina and now we’re already looking to our penultimate round at Powerline Park next weekend.
Quick Fill #28: This Week in GNCCSeptember 21, 2017Welcome to Quick Fill.
The final rounds of the 2017 GNCC Racing season roll on this weekend with the Mountaineer Run GNCC. The course is coming together very well and there’s some slight chances from the past few years. Keep reading ahead as I’ll give you all the details on the course coming up a little later in this week’s edition of Quick Fill.
Quick Fill #27: This Week in GNCCSeptember 14, 2017Welcome to Quick Fill.
Well, we’re officially back into the swing of GNCC Racing. Last weekend’s Unadilla GNCC was a blast and while we’re fully aware that there were some who weren’t exactly respectful of their camping neighbors, we’re looking into a number of different options to make things better moving forward. As for the race itself, well, it seems like everyone pretty well enjoyed themselves! The course was pretty fun and I’m actually speaking from experience here! Our Sweepmaster, Timmy Coryea, suffered a season-ending knee injury back before the summer break and so I hopped on the bike last weekend to fill-in and while there’s nothing easy about riding sweep, especially when you’re as out of shape as I am, I really enjoyed the course!
