GNCC returns to Alabama for the Talladega GNCC, held on the grounds of the world-famous Talladega Superspeedway. While Talladega is known far and wide for hosting NASCAR events on the asphalt 2.66-mile oval, the facility is no total stranger to dirt as back in 1984 Talladega hosted the sixth round of the Supercross season.
After 41 years, dirt competition returned to the Talladega property for the first-ever Talladega GNCC in 2025 and it turned out to be an instant classic. This course is a bit on the tight side for ATVs, with some medium speeds for the bikes that give way to additional single track sections. While the majority of the course stays in the woods, there's a couple of big, fast field sections to break some of these wooded areas up and allow you to open your machine up like you're racing down Talladega's "Alabama Gang Superstretch".
The dirt here is predominantly red clay, so it can get a little on the choppy side when its really dry and incredibly slick of it gets wet but when conditions are right, this red clay is some of the best clay you could hope to race across.
You can continue to expect lots of excitement to continue to build around this event and don’t forget to break out all your Ricky Bobby or Dale Earnhardt gear for this one!
