Another week has clicked by as we begin to roll on through the off-season and work our way closer to the kick off of the 2020 GNCC Racing season. Last week I talked about how we were excited to get the season rolling, and at that point we were still riding the wave of the Holidays. Now, a week later, we’re full force in making preparations for the 2020 season and this makes things even more exciting! In addition to the traditional type of organizing things for the various events of the upcoming season, we’ve also just started work on the 2020 GNCC Souvenir Program and it’s looking to be another cool addition to your collection!

Quick Fill #1: This Week in GNCCJanuary 2, 2020Welcome to Quick Fill. And welcome to the first Quick Fill of 2020! We’re now a whopping two days into the New Year and it’s already getting us excited for the 2020 GNCC Racing season. We’ve got several changes in the schedule this season including a return to Mountain Ridge for the first time since 2015 and an all-new event in Kentucky at a facility that has never hosted an off-road race before. It’s already shaping up to be a great year and we’re anxiously counting down the days until we kick it all off at Big Buck… That’s just 51 days away!

Another week of the off-season has ticked by and however you want to look at it right now, we’re either one week closer to Christmas, one week closer to New Year’s or one week closer to the beginning of the 2020 GNCC Racing season. No matter which of those you prefer to look at, they’re all very exciting and some are coming up quicker than others. This time next week Christmas will have come and gone and in two weeks time we’ll already be three days into 2020.

We’re thankful for all of our GNCC Racing Family and the freedoms we’re granted to be able to get together and enjoy racing our machines each weekend. 2019 KTM 300 XC-W TPI GNCC Staff Bikes For SaleNovember 26, 2019With the 2019 season complete, it’s time to part with our staff units for the season to make way for the 2020 models! We have three (3) 2019 KTM 300 XC-W TPI available, all of which have been refreshed and are ready for a new home. These bikes were brand new at the beginning of the 2019 season with one serving as the primary GNCC sweep bike, and two used by the RacerTV Film Crew for accessing spots to shoot racing action, and additionally help with sweep riding during the Youth races.

The off-season is in full swing but just as quickly as things begin to wind down, we all know they’re going to pick right back up again. This is the norm each year when the GNCC season ends. Things slow down for a month or so for some actual “off-time” but then it’s back to work getting ready for the new season and that off time begins to feel like real work once again. We do have what we like to call “the 14th round” coming up, and that’s the GNCC banquets which will be taking place in just around two weeks!

The Mountaineer GNCC is coming together nicely and this promises to be a fun weekend full of some great racing. We’ll have some info on the track coming up a little later in this week’s edition of Quick Fill, and you’ll definitely want to read up on it because this one is looking like loads of fun. Of course, with great fun comes great responsibility and keep in mind that this venue is a very unique facility, and let’s make sure we treat it with as much respect as everyone here has treated us with!

Quick Fill #30: This Week in GNCCSeptember 12, 2019Welcome to Quick Fill. Are you ready to go GNCC Racing? We are! This weekend’s Black Sky GNCC is ON! Don’t listen to any rumors your best friend’s neighbor’s little brother heard, we’re going racing this weekend and it’s going to be a fun one! We have got a little bit of rain here but the property needed it. The facility was pretty dusty yesterday, so this rain has done nothing but shape things up for the better this weekend. There’s a new road built into the facility that actually was here when we arrived earlier this week. It’s a hard road, and there’s some hard ground throughout the pit area. So while it may be a hair on the slick side if we get more rain, you’ll still be able to get in and out.
