Second Annual Mowgli Memorial Dog Show Returns to Mountaineer Run GNCCSeptember 20, 2017The sixth annual Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Mountaineer Run GNCC returns to Marvin’s Mountain Top in Masontown, West Virginia this weekend, September 24 and 25. Alongside the jam-packed weekend of racing the second annual Mowgli Memorial Dog Show, presented by the GNCC Kennel Club, is scheduled to take place Saturday night at 8 p.m. on Pro Row.

Tuesday Toolbox: Tayla JonesSeptember 19, 2017Just back from her exploits at the 2017 ISDE in France, Rocky Mountain ATV*MX/KR4/Husqvarna team rider Tayla Jones wrapped up the bike WXC title a full three races before the end of the season. To top that off, she did it with an arguably perfect season, no less (she has not raced every GNCC this year, but she has won every GNCC that she has raced. Additionally, since the WXC racers get 4 drops, she has won all 9 of the races that may be counted for the title). This is the Australian native’s first year living full-time in the United States to pursue her racing career – hopefully the first of many!

Yamaha Racing’s Walker Fowler Clinches Third Straight GNCC ChampionshipSeptember 15, 2017Yamaha Racing’s Walker Fowler clinched his third-straight Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) XC1 Pro ATV championship last weekend. Piloting the Mark Notman-prepared WFR / Maxxis / Yamaha YFZ450R to his ninth first-place finish this season at Unadilla in New Berlin, New York, Fowler captured the series title with three rounds still remaining.

Well, we’re officially back into the swing of GNCC Racing. Last weekend’s Unadilla GNCC was a blast and while we’re fully aware that there were some who weren’t exactly respectful of their camping neighbors, we’re looking into a number of different options to make things better moving forward. As for the race itself, well, it seems like everyone pretty well enjoyed themselves! The course was pretty fun and I’m actually speaking from experience here! Our Sweepmaster, Timmy Coryea, suffered a season-ending knee injury back before the summer break and so I hopped on the bike last weekend to fill-in and while there’s nothing easy about riding sweep, especially when you’re as out of shape as I am, I really enjoyed the course!

Walker Fowler Race Report: Unadilla GNCCSeptember 14, 2017GNCC Racing picked back up this weekend in New Berlin, New York after a two-month hiatus for “summer break.” After dominating the first half of the season, Walker Fowler, picked up right where he left off at the Unadilla GNCC this past weekend and took his ninth win of the season in a commanding fashion along with clinching his third-straight National Championship.

A total of 95 females competed in the Parts Unlimited Unadilla GNCC in New Berlin, New York over the course of the two-day event on September 9 and 10.
