Quick Fill #31: This Week in GNCCOctober 12, 2017Welcome to Quick Fill.
Wow. Only one round remains in the 2017 GNCC Racing season, and it’s the biggest of them all, the Ironman GNCC in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Ironman has grown to be not only the biggest GNCC event of the year, but one of the biggest off-road racing events around. It’s pretty exciting because this is one of the most fun races of the season, but it’s also a little bittersweet as it marks the end of the season. However, time flies and we’ll be rolling into the 2018 before we know it. As for 2018, we’re working out details on next year’s schedule and will have the details on that coming in the next several weeks.
AMSOIL GNCC Racing WXC Highlights: Polaris Ace Powerline Park GNCCOctober 11, 2017he penultimate round of the 2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, traveled to St. Clairsville, Ohio this past weekend for the 17th Annual Polaris Ace Powerline Park GNCC. Seventy females competed during the weekend with Saturday hosting hot and dusty conditions, while Sunday’s rain created for a muddy and slick course.
Tuesday Toolbox: Bryce KosterOctober 10, 2017Bryce Koster is an 18-year-old from Sorrento, Florida who races in the Open A class in the 1 p.m. bike race. He currently sits seventh in the points championship, following a season of mixed results, ranging from fourth to 17th. His highest overall finish was a 38th at Unadilla. These results are pretty solid, coming from a rider who is racing the full GNCC series for the first time ever this season. Bryce and I talked about his experiences this year, and some of the lessons he has learned in his first year of GNCC.

The world’s best off-road competitors will be recognized on Friday, December 1, and Saturday, December 2, at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place Hotel and Convention Center in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Coastal Racing ATV and UTV Team Report: Powerline Park GNCCOctober 10, 2017Coastal Racing/Answer/Maxxis/Waynesburg Yamaha ATV Team's Brycen Neal kept the positive momentum rolling through Round 12 of the Grand National Cross Country Series (GNCC) on Saturday as he earned 3rd overall at the Powerline Park GNCC. His teammate, Drew Landers, earned his sixth victory of the season in the College A (16-21) class to further extend his points lead in the class.

With completely different conditions from the previous round, the Powerline Park GNCC was a muddy mess and challenged the riders to bring out their best skills to get through the slick Ohio race track.
Double Podiums for the Coastal Racing/Husqvarna Team at GNCC Round 12October 9, 2017The Coastal Racing/Husqvarna Team showcased their mud riding skills on Sunday as they rode to two victories and four total podiums at the Powerline Park GNCC in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Team rider Craig DeLong led the way as he captured his first victory of the season in the XC2 250 Pro class, followed closely by his teammate Layne Michael in 2nd place.
