GNCC Racing's Statement Regarding Snowshoe Mountain's Summer OperationsApril 21, 2020Our announcement this morning regarding the Snowshoe GNCC contained some inaccurate information regarding Snowshoe Mountain’s summer operations. At this time, the resort will remain closed through the month of May, but they have not yet made any determinations for operating beyond that. Resort officials are continuing to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis and will open once it is safe to do so for their employees, community, and guests.

Tuesday Toolbox: Grant Davis & Jack JoyApril 14, 2020Grant Davis and Jack Joy are currently the top two riders in the bike YXC1 Super Mini Sr. class. One of them will almost certainly be the 2020 YXC1 National Champion and win the Youth Overall title. Both of them compete on KX100s with help from Team Green – Davis is backed by Team Babbits Kawasaki as well, while Joy gets additional help through B&S Cycles. Since we have some downtime from GNCC Racing, I thought it would be a good time to get to know some of the potential future stars of our sport.

For GNCCs and NEPGs they signed the Baylor Brothers, while making Cody Webb the face of their Extreme Off-Road and EnduroCross program. These are some big names, which is appropriate, given the big plans Sherco has in the works. I spoke with two Sherco representatives about these plans and the GNCC program in particular: Bryan Kraham, Sherco’s chief marketing officer, and a more familiar name to the GNCC crowd, Eric Siraton, the longtime Honda mechanic, now the new GNCC team manager and lead mechanic for FactoryONE Sherco.
