Tuesday Toolbox: Drew LandersJune 2, 2020Over his past two seasons in XC2, Drew Landers has posted some great finishes in the GNCC series. It looks like the third time is the charm though, as he is having a fantastic start to the 2020 season – he has won four out of five races, has a 25-point lead over second place, and on top of that is 10th overall in the points standings. The twenty-year-old was born and raised in Monterey, Tennessee and has been racing GNCCs since he was on minis.

Tuesday Toolbox: Trevor BollingerMay 26, 2020Sometimes things don’t go according to plan, as pretty much everyone can attest to right now. While things are slowly getting back to normal, and fortunately we are racing again, we still had one rider left in our original series of injured pros left to interview. Last up on the list is Trevor Bollinger.
Tuesday Toolbox: Ben KelleyMay 19, 2020Sometimes things don’t go according to plan, as pretty much everyone can attest to right now. Over the next couple weeks, until we go racing again, I’ll be talking to several of our GNCC pro riders who were injured very early in the season, to see what their road to recovery has been like and what they’ve been up to while everything is on hold. This week I spoke with Ben Kelley, last year’s XC2 champion, whose XC1 debut was derailed by a shoulder injury

Tuesday Toolbox: Barry WrayApril 28, 2020Barry Wray is a fifty-nine-year-old father of two and college professor. He is also longtime motorsports and bicycle enthusiast, who has recently gotten into the GNCC eBike scene. Though he only did a handful of races last year, he came out swinging in the Master’s class – he won the first round, which makes him the current points leader. He plans on pursuing the full Specialized eMTB GNCC National Championship Series, depending on what the schedule looks like once we get back to racing again.
Tuesday Toolbox: Nick Dearing, Charlie Stewart & Tyler CoxApril 21, 2020Nick Dearing, Charlie Stewart and Tyler Cox are currently the top three riders in the ATV YXC1 class. One of them will almost certainly be the 2020 YXC1 champion and win the Youth Overall title. The YXC1 class is very competitive – both Dearing (points leader) and Cox (third place) have won overalls this season, and after three races they are only separated by four points. Since we have some downtime from GNCC Racing, I thought it would be a good time to get to know some of the potential future stars of our sport.
Tuesday Toolbox: Grant Davis & Jack JoyApril 14, 2020Grant Davis and Jack Joy are currently the top two riders in the bike YXC1 Super Mini Sr. class. One of them will almost certainly be the 2020 YXC1 National Champion and win the Youth Overall title. Both of them compete on KX100s with help from Team Green – Davis is backed by Team Babbits Kawasaki as well, while Joy gets additional help through B&S Cycles. Since we have some downtime from GNCC Racing, I thought it would be a good time to get to know some of the potential future stars of our sport.
