JMR's Jarrod McClure Podiums at Big Buck GNCCApril 22, 2016JMR / ATVriders.com rider Jarrod McClure returned to the podium at round four of the Grand National Cross Country Series this past weekend in Union, South Carolina. Jarrod battled through the dusty conditions all day to secure third overall in the XC1 Pro Class. JMR teammate Randy Hamilton pulled his third consecutive holeshot in the XC2 Pro Am class and finished seventh for the day.

Hopefully by this point in the week everyone has been able to clean themselves up from all the dust and are ready to push forward to the next event. Big Buck was a bit on the dry side and while a little rain wouldn’t have hurt anything, at least we weren’t racing in the mud! Unless you like that, then, well, sorry it didn’t rain! The dust was possibly one of the biggest stories of the weekend and it added yet another challenge to the race itself. However, I saw less riders with goggles off than I have in a long time, so if nothing else, it was easy on goggles!

With a total of six rounds of the 13-round GNCC series now partnered with premier regional racing bodies, racers will now be able to connect with various racing series and continue to advance the sport of off-road racing.
Team UXC Race Report: Big Buck GNCCApril 21, 2016Dry and dusty seemed to be the theme for Round 4 of the GNCC race this past weekend at the Big Buck Farm in Union, South Carolina. The track was flat and fast which allowed racers to open up their machines to maximum speeds creating a dusty scene.

Tuesday Toolbox: Cameron AbeeApril 20, 2016#888 Cameron Abee has been in the GNCC ranks for quite a while. Even while racing youth ATVs, he became part of the GNCC fabric when he and his family started hosting Friday night youth activities at the Team Faith tent on Vendor Row. Always a contender in the youth ranks, Cameron moved to the 10am race last year. For 2016, he is racing the ultra-competitive Schoolboy Sr Division. Kyle Chaney drove his Can-Am Maverick side-by-side to the XC1 Pro UTV win, while Can-Am Renegade ATV racer Kevin Cunningham notched a victory in the 4x4 Pro class.
