Video Report: Ironman ATVsNovember 16, 2016The 2016 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series took place today, October 29, with the 22nd running of the AMSOIL Ironman GNCC held annually at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The top spot on the box quickly became anyone’s to take with the two-time National Champion and N-Fab/Maxxis/AmPro Yamaha/Lonestar/MXP’s Walker Fowler missing from the start line due to a lingering issue that occurred at a local hare-scramble last weekend.

Ironman Raceway hosted over 2,400 riders in the course of the two-day Ironman GNCC event, but at the conclusion of today’s 1 p.m. pro bike race it was FMF/KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell who stood atop of the podium and earned his 40th career overall win.
AMSOIL Ironman GNCC Raises Over $7,700 For Breast Cancer AwarenessNovember 15, 2016The 2016 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, concluded the weekend of October 29 and 30, with the AMSOIL Ironman GNCC season finale in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The event was deemed a “pink race” in honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, where various methods were positioned to raise money for the cause, resulting in a grand total of $7,793.
2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series Schedule AnnouncedNovember 11, 2016Racer Productions, producer of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, announced today the 2017 series schedule. For the first time, the GNCC series will kick off with the Big Buck GNCC on March 4 and 5 in Union, South Carolina. This round will also serve as the first race of the six-round ATV and Bike Micro 50cc championship.
Trevor Bollinger Caps off 2016 Championship Season with AAGP Win in JapanNovember 10, 2016The AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series continued their 10-year partnership with Japan National Cross Country (JNCC) this past weekend, Sunday, November 6. JCR Honda’s Trevor Bollinger was elected to represent the United States at the Jigatake Ski Resort in Omachi City, Nagano, Japan, after his successful 2016 XC2 Pro Lites AMA National Championship season, and he capped up his year claiming the overall victory at the AAGP JNCC race.

The off-season is now officially in full swing and while we’re less than two weeks removed from the end of the 2016 season, it’s never too early to start looking ahead and dreaming of next season. For some riders, there’s a good bit of changing on the horizon, which is pretty wild as 2016 saw a significant amount of change as well. The silly season is in full swing and there’s been a few pretty good rumors going around, but it’s still too early to dive very far into discussing too many of those.
