After retiring from professional racing, he found a new passion in bicycle racing. When GNCC started an eMTB racing series, it was a perfect fit. The 33-year old Mullins is the first-ever Specialized Turbo eMTB GNCC National Champion, as well as earning accolades in several other bicycle disciplines.

Another week has clicked by as we begin to roll on through the off-season and work our way closer to the kick off of the 2020 GNCC Racing season. Last week I talked about how we were excited to get the season rolling, and at that point we were still riding the wave of the Holidays. Now, a week later, we’re full force in making preparations for the 2020 season and this makes things even more exciting! In addition to the traditional type of organizing things for the various events of the upcoming season, we’ve also just started work on the 2020 GNCC Souvenir Program and it’s looking to be another cool addition to your collection!

Our primary series is GNCC where we field three XC2 250 Pro, one WXC and one 150A rider. We will also contend the Full Gas Sprint Enduro series in Pro2 class and compete in select New England regional events.

AMSOIL Ironman GNCC Raises $5,000 For Breast Cancer AwarenessJanuary 7, 2020The 2019 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship, concluded, October 27 and 28, with the AMSOIL Ironman GNCC in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Since 2010, this event has been deemed a “pink race” in honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with several partners participating to raise money for the cause.

Tuesday Toolbox: Ashley HendershotJanuary 7, 2020Ashley Hendershot won the first-ever Specialized Turbo eMTB GNCC Women’s National Championship in 2019 and is looking forward to another season of eMTB racing – hopefully with a little more competition this time! Though the 31-year old from Mansfield, Ohio, was definitely a bicycle enthusiast before last year, she had very little racing experience and had actually never ridden an eBike prior to her first GNCC. Her husband is an ATV racer, who also won a title last year in the Vet B class and her son races mountain bikes… so you could say that racing of all kinds is very much a family activity for the Hendershots.

We’ve got several changes in the schedule this season including a return to Mountain Ridge for the first time since 2015 and an all-new event in Kentucky at a facility that has never hosted an off-road race before. It’s already shaping up to be a great year and we’re anxiously counting down the days until we kick it all off at Big Buck… That’s just 51 days away!
