The off-season is winding down and this time next week we’ll be full bore heading into round one of the 2020 GNCC Racing season. The first wave of the track crew is heading that way this weekend to get started and we’ve got big plans for a really cool racecourse at Big Buck and we hope that some time off has given the property extra time to heal and possibly produce some serious “hero dirt” as the weekend progresses.

2020 Grand National Cross Country Series Set to Kick Off in Union County on February 22 and 23February 11, 2020The 2020 Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Specialized, an AMA National Championship, is set to return to Union, South Carolina on February 22 and 23 for the Big Buck GNCC at the Big Buck Farm. Big Buck will return as the series opener, after severe weather conditions forced the race to be cancelled in 2019. Big Buck will also welcome the Micro (50cc) ATV and bike riders back to the event schedule.

Quick Fill #6: This Week in GNCCFebruary 6, 2020Welcome to Quick Fill. Wow, this off-season thing is really beginning to wind down, huh? In two weeks, we’ll be on the verge of beginning the opening round of the season in South Carolina. I know I say this every year but it seems like the first part of the off-season took it’s time and this second part of it has really flown by. Actually, at this point next week the GNCC Track Crew will have trucks loaded and will be ready to flock south. We’ve got a great Big Buck course in mind and I know I’m excited to see it all come together! Plus, I’m just excited to get back into the swing of racing all together, and I know a lot of you are saying the exact same thing.

Tuesday Toolbox: Colby GoodmanFebruary 4, 2020Colby Goodman is a nine year old who hails from Olin, North Carolina. Goodman was only going to race a handful of GNCC events int 2019, but when he started winning and keeping up with the front of the pack the family decided to race the whole series. Goodman earned himself the Micro Bike National Championship after earning seven class wins and five micro overall wins throughout the season. This year he will be competing in the 65cc (7-9) class as well and hopes to reel in that championship.
Duvall and Bollinger Claim Top-Five Finishes at Sumter National EnduroFebruary 3, 2020The Rockstar Energy Factory Racing Team had a successful start to the 2020 AMA National Enduro Series with two top-five finishes at the opening round in Wedgefield, South Carolina. Team rider Thad DuVall bounced back from injury with fourth overall, while his teammate Trevor Bollinger rounded out the top-five.

It seems really crazy to say that we’re now only around three weeks away from kicking off the 2020 GNCC Racing season. We’re excited to get it rolling but at the same time there’s still so much to do!
