- Tuesday Toolbox: Johnny GallagherMay 23, 2017Johnny Gallagher is a familiar face for fans at the GNCC races. He has been pursuing the series for many years and competing in the XC1 Pro class for 23 of those years. In addition to racing his YFZ 450R at every round, he also fills in as an announcer for the GNCC LIVE bike race on Sunday’s in addition to being mechanic for defending WXC bike champion, Becca Sheets. This past weekend, at the muddy and brutal X-Factor GNCC, he finally captured his first-ever premier class win at the age of 39.
- Tuesday Toolbox: Prestin RainesMay 16, 2017Prestin Raines definitely has some family history with the GNCC series! Both of her parents were GNCC racers: Her father Jason Raines is a six-time National Hare Scrambles Champion, with eight overall XC1 class wins under his belt; he is now in charge of the Yamaha Demo Ride program. His wife Emily formerly raced women’s professional motocross and competed in the WXC class here at the GNCCs. Now she focuses on teaching the RainesRacing.com riding schools.

He has been racing since 1972 with 30+ local and regional championships, which include: Five AMA National Hare-Scramble Championships; One GNCC Championship; Five GNCC Series Top Five A class finishes; Alligator Enduro Vet A Class win with 17th Overall; Four Moose Run Vet A Class wins, Two Stoney Lonesome Team Race Overall wins; Five MSXC Winter Series Top Five in class for the series; MAXC Class Champion 2011 & 2012; 2014 GNCC Ironman Fourth in class and 2015 GNCC Ironman Third in class.

After claiming the Youth National Championship in 2013, Braxton moved up to a big bike in the 1PM race starting in 2014. He claimed the 4-Stroke B Lites championship in his first season aboard a big bike, then has followed that up by finishing runner-up in the 4-Stroke A Lites class in 2015 and 2016. - Tuesday Toolbox: Jack EdmondsonOctober 25, 2016This week, we caught wind of an unusual story that happened after the ISDE. According to the legend, Coastal Racing team owner, Scott Kiger was in Spain and got to talking to “a guy.” The guy turned out to be 4-time World Enduro Champion, Paul Edmondson. Paul was in Spain because his son, Jack, was racing on the Junior Trophy Team for Great Britain. Paul mentioned that he “sure would like to get his son over to the United States to race a GNCC.”
