Quick Fill #10: This Week In GNCCMarch 12, 2015If you’re reading this week, congratulations! You’ve made it through the opening round of the 2015 season. And now it’s onto the next one with The Maxxis General GNCC in Washington, Georgia this weekend. The gates open tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. and that’s when it all begins!
Quick Fill #9: This Week In GNCCMarch 5, 2015This week comes to you from inside the Racer Productions office here in Morgantown, West Virginia as we continue to gear up for the OPENING WEEKEND of the 2015 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship. Wait, I’m still in Morgantown, West Virginia? Unfortunately last night’s winter storm put a damper on travel conditions for a large portion of the Northeast region, including flights leaving from the Clarksburg regional airport. If you’re heading out today, please be careful, as we’ve been getting reports from all over the area that conditions are not favorable at the moment.
Quick Fill #8: This Week In GNCCFebruary 26, 2015ARE YOU READY? ARE YOU READY? If your answer is no, don’t feel bad. I’m pretty sure you’re not alone. We’re one week away from the official kick off to Daytona Bike Week, GNCC Racing, and all the festivities in between.
Quick Fill #7: This Week In GNCCFebruary 19, 2015And a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our very own Rodney Tomblin, the man responsible for the many wonderful (and very catchy) phrases that have become so iconic in the world of GNCC Racing. I’ve seen plenty of “ten seconds” references all over social media and it gets me that much more excited for round one, which is TWO WEEKS AWAY!
Quick Fill #6: This Week In GNCCFebruary 12, 2015The excitement builds as we are three weeks (and counting) from the season opener in Palatka, Florida. For those of you already down south, please don’t hold this warm weather hostage. Those of us in the colder states are really counting on that sunshine to bring an end to winter, but as we know, that could be wishful thinking.
Quick Fill #5: This Week in GNCCFebruary 5, 2015Can you believe it? We're now only ONE month away from the opening round of the 2015 AMSOIL GNCC season. If you ask me, the warm weather can't come soon enough!
Quick Fill #4: This Week in GNCCJanuary 29, 2015And the countdown ensues….five weeks until the opening round. Ahhh! Let’s jump right into the action of this week. I caught up with Johnny Campbell Racing/Honda’s Chris Bach this morning to learn what the Indiana native has been up to this winter.
Quick Fill #3: This Week in GNCCJanuary 22, 2015I’m not much of a “countdown” type of person but after realizing we’re only six weeks out from the start of the 2015 season, I would say that now is the time to let it slide. Wait, SIX WEEKS OUT?!
Quick Fill #2: This Week in GNCCJanuary 15, 2015This week’s entry comes to you—at least on my end—from high above the clouds in the window seat of a United Airlines plane. Which state we’re in, nobody knows, but it definitely looks cold from up here.
Quick Fill #1: This Week in GNCCJanuary 8, 2015And welcome to the start of the 2015 season! The first week in January seems to be full of energy as we hit the “reset” button and attempt to showcase the best version of ourselves we possibly can. This is the best time because everyone is positive, full of energy and ready to rule the world! Now check back with me in another six months or so, and we’ll see how that’s all going, jusssst kidding.
Quick Fill #47: This Week in GNCCDecember 18, 2014Hopefully you’re all a little more at ease this evening with the announcement of the official 2015 schedule and the tentative classes and supplemental rules. Notice that we say “tentative” as in they are not final until after Christmas. From now until Dec. 22, the tentative rules and classes will be online and available for public comment so if you have a comment that you’d like for us to take into consideration, please email [email protected] before then.
Quick Fill #46: This Week in GNCCDecember 11, 2014You know it’s the holiday season when you struggle to find racers talking about racing-related subject matter on social media. We’re only eleven days in but it seems like December has been one of the quietest months of the entire year.
