2018 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series Schedule AnnouncedDecember 14, 2017Racer Productions, producer of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship, is pleased to announce the 2018 series schedule. GNCC Recognizes Top Racers and Sponsors at 2017 Awards BanquetDecember 6, 2017With all 13 race rounds complete on the 2017 circuit, the annual GNCC Night of Champions took place this past weekend, December 1 and 2, with the ultimate celebration to cap off the season. More than 1,360 racers, family members and fans from all over the country came together in Morgantown, West Virginia at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place to celebrate the prestigious accomplishments of the top 10 racers in each championship class.

The GNCC series will kick off with the Big Buck GNCC on February 24 and 25 in Union, South Carolina, then continue to with the traditional format with the Wild Boar GNCC in Palatka, Florida, held in conjunction with Daytona Beach’s 2018 “Bike Week” festivities on March 10 and 11.
Landon Wolfe Signs with Factory BRP Can-AmNovember 29, 2017DeRisi Racing is proud to announce that their sponsored GNCC XC1 Pro Landon Wolfe who finished out the 2017 season with a 6th place overall position will be competing on a DeRisi Racing built and suspension tuned factory BRP backed Can-Am Renegade 1000XXC in the 4X4 Pro class for the 2018 season. DeRisi Racing’s Mad Scientist (James Reeves) will be handling all of Landon’s race preps for the 2018 season. As many already know, Landon raced one of Dwight Pollard’s machines at the final GNCC Ironman race and came out with a first in 4x4 Pro class and the overall win.
Steward Baylor Clinches 2017 Kenda National Enduro ChampionshipNovember 10, 2017Only three points separated GNCC competitors Steward Baylor Jr. and Thad Duvall heading into the final race of the Kenda AMA National Enduro (NEPG) series this past weekend in Stanton, Alabama. In a winner-take-all-affair, Baylor rose to the occasion taking the Gobbler Getter National Enduro win along with his second National Enduro title.
Ricky Russell Caps off 2017 Season with AAGP Win in JapanNovember 7, 2017The AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series continued their 12-year partnership with the Japan National Cross Country (JNCC) series this past weekend, Sunday, November 5. N-Fab/AmPro Yamaha’s Ricky Russell was elected to represent the United States at the Jigatake Ski Resort in Omachi City, Nagano, Japan, after his successful 2017 XC1 season where he finished third overall. Russell capped off his already successful year and claimed the overall victory at the season finale AAGP JNCC race.
AMSOIL Ironman GNCC Raises Over $11,350 For Breast Cancer AwarenessNovember 6, 2017The 2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series, presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, concluded, October 28 and 29, with the AMSOIL Ironman GNCC in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The event was deemed a “pink race” in honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with several partners participating to raise money for the cause, resulting in a grand total of $11,351.

AMSOIL GNCC Racing WXC Highlights: AMSOIL Ironman GNCCOctober 31, 2017The 2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series, presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, came to a close this past weekend, October 28 and 29, in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Despite the chilly temperatures, the AMSOIL Ironman GNCC boasted the largest rider turnout of the season with 2,398 total riders, 96 of which were female.
AMSOIL GNCC Racing Bike Highlights: AMSOIL Ironman GNCCOctober 30, 2017It was a bittersweet day as the 2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, came to a close for the season in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Ironman Raceway hosted over 2,398 riders in the course of the two-day Ironman GNCC event, but at the conclusion of today’s 1 p.m. pro bike race it was FMF/KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell who stood atop of the podium and earned his 47th career overall win, making him the all-time winningest bike GNCC rider.

The overcast and chilly temperatures didn’t stop racers and fans from flocking to the popular AMSOIL Ironman GNCC to witness WFR/Yamaha/Maxxis/Fly Racing’s Walker Fowler fight his way to his 12th overall victory of the season.
Thad Duvall Makes Highly Anticipated Return to the AMSOIL Ironman GNCCOctober 25, 2017The 2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, heads into the final round of racing this weekend, October 28 and 29, with the 23rd running of the AMSOIL Ironman GNCC. Held in the motorsports-crazed town of Crawfordsville, Indiana, the event is expected to draw one of the largest crowds this season with its unique racing history, season finale celebration and homage to October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. With the XC1, XC2 and XC3 championships already wrapped up, round 13 will be less about points and more about pride as a deep field of talent are expected to compete in this year’s highly anticipated season finale.
