Today, October 1, also played in favor for N-Fab/Maxxis/AmPro Yamaha/Lonestar/MXP’s Walker Fowler as he was able to wrap up his second National Championship at the twelfth round of the 2016 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship.

Another week has come and gone and we’re yet again going racing at Powerline Park. It’s an annual thing to have back-to-back opening rounds down south but due to this year’s ISDE schedule, we’re experiencing back-to-back rounds in the fall as well. This threw a pretty unique curve to the 2016 schedule but overall, it really doesn’t feel like it’s that much different than a two-week break between rounds. This weekend’s Powerline Park GNCC could see champions crowned and we have the info on that coming up a little later.

Layne Michael Leads the Coastal Racing Husqvarna Team to a 2 nd Place Finish at Mountaineer Run GNCCSeptember 29, 2016Husqvarna-backed Coastal Racing's Layne Michael had a stand-out performance on Sunday with a strong 2nd place finish in the XC2 Pro Lites class at the Mountaineer Run GNCC. Michael led five of the seven laps in his class, while holding the overall lead in the opening laps of the three-hour race.
