Adam McGill Rises to the Occasion at the Polaris Ace Powerline Park GNCCOctober 1, 2016Racers and fans watched as CST/LSR/Induction Solutions/DeRisi/SG/Tire Blocks’s Adam McGill raced his way through the muddy 10-mile racecourse at the Polaris Ace Powerline Park GNCC to claim the overall win. Today, October 1, also played in favor for N-Fab/Maxxis/AmPro Yamaha/Lonestar/MXP’s Walker Fowler as he was able to wrap up his second National Championship at the twelfth round of the 2016 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship.

FMF/KTM Factory Racing’s continued his dominance at the eleventh round where he earned his eighth overall win of the season today, September 25.

While the two lead the way into the woods, it would not take long for Fowler to secure the lead position.

Another week has come and gone and we’re yet again going racing at Powerline Park. It’s an annual thing to have back-to-back opening rounds down south but due to this year’s ISDE schedule, we’re experiencing back-to-back rounds in the fall as well. This threw a pretty unique curve to the 2016 schedule but overall, it really doesn’t feel like it’s that much different than a two-week break between rounds. This weekend’s Powerline Park GNCC could see champions crowned and we have the info on that coming up a little later.
