Ricky Russell Caps off 2017 Season with AAGP Win in JapanNovember 7, 2017The AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series continued their 12-year partnership with the Japan National Cross Country (JNCC) series this past weekend, Sunday, November 5. N-Fab/AmPro Yamaha’s Ricky Russell was elected to represent the United States at the Jigatake Ski Resort in Omachi City, Nagano, Japan, after his successful 2017 XC1 season where he finished third overall. Russell capped off his already successful year and claimed the overall victory at the season finale AAGP JNCC race.
Tuesday Toolbox: Walker FowlerNovember 7, 2017Walker Fowler is a name we know all too well in the GNCC Racing Nation. Walker started racing in the youth ranks and worked his way up to the XC1 Pro ATV class where he now has three consecutive titles. Just this past season Walker set the record for the most wins in a season, both bike and ATV, with 12 victories. Once the final green flag waved on the 2017 season, we caught up with Walker to celebrate his success and get some insight on his UTV plans for next year.
AMSOIL Ironman GNCC Raises Over $11,350 For Breast Cancer AwarenessNovember 6, 2017The 2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series, presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, concluded, October 28 and 29, with the AMSOIL Ironman GNCC in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The event was deemed a “pink race” in honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with several partners participating to raise money for the cause, resulting in a grand total of $11,351.
Landon Wolfe Wins Ironman GNCC 4x4 Pro Class as GBC Motorsports Racers Claim Four Class TitlesNovember 6, 2017After twelve exciting rounds of racing action over the course of eight months, the 2017 GNCC season came to an end with the thirteenth and final round in Crawfordsville, Indiana. It was an overcast and chilly day but that didn’t stop the hoards of spectators that gathered to watch these racers battle it out one last time at the legendary Ironman GNCC. For some racers, their fate hung in the balance as they made one final grab for their class points lead, while others used the opportunity to try their hand at a different class.

The 23rd annual event boasted the largest rider turnout of the season along with the chilliest temperatures of the year, but it didn’t stop the Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4/Husqvarna team from coming out swinging at the season finale.
Quick Fill #34: This Week in GNCCNovember 2, 2017Welcome to Quick Fill. Just like that, the 2017 GNCC Racing season has come to a close. Many seem to agree that the season flew by in the blink of an eye, but for others it may have seemed to drag on. Regardless of which category you fall into, 2017 was definitely one for the record books, and I mean that quite literally. History was made in both the ATV and Bike ranks, and then additionally there was history made from the UTV crowd as well. It was also a bit of an up and down season for some folks, as some usual title contenders seemed to struggle at times. Overall, it was a great season and we hope to start 2018 on a high note.
