The Burr Oak GNCC was held at Sunday Creek Raceway in Millfield, Ohio. The venue has already hosted one event this year, the John Penton GNCC, where Walker scored a second place finish.

Quick Fill #33: This Week in GNCCOctober 1, 2020Welcome to Quick Fill. That was yet another great weekend of racing, was it not? It seems like the last several times we’ve visited Sunday Creek Raceway we’ve been dealt a poor hand with the weather but this time it was finally dry! In fact, it was really dry and we did have some dust to contend with but overall it was actually really, really good. For me, I felt like that was the best track I’ve ever ridden there and the conditions definitely helped in that. Not just because it was dry on the track but the fact that the layout felt a lot different than we’ve gotten used to at The John Penton.

Trail Jesters KTM Racing – Burr Oak GNCC Race ReportOctober 1, 2020The Trail Jesters KTM Team hit the road and headed to Millfield, Ohio for round 10 of the 2020 Grand National Cross Country series. At the wave of the green flag the XC2 class was off in a roar as Johnny Girroir got a great jump and made his way into the lead group as they headed out into the woods with him sitting in 4th place.

Tuesday Toolbox: Jeff McCarrenSeptember 29, 2020If you’ve spent any time around the Gear Cycles tent at the GNCCs, you’ve more than likely met Jeff McCarren. In addition to working at the bike shop and at the races as a bicycle mechanic, he is also one of the top eMTB racers, currently sitting third in points in the XC1 class. Jeff feels especially at home at the GNCCs, as he does originally come from a motorcycle racing background, and he has worked off-and-on for John Ayers for many years now.
