The Madman Cleaning Solutions / Stickman Graphx offroad race team traveled to Masontown, WV for round 7 of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series. The weather and track conditions were great and made for a prime weekend of racing.
Team racer Jonathan Johnson lined up once again in the 200 A class and started off around 5th position. Within a few miles, he was able to take over the lead. With 2 laps to go, Johnson suffered a rear flat, but having rode smart all day he was able to hang on to the lead and take the win.
Braxton McGee, racing the 4-stroke B Lites class had a bit of a rough start and was around 8th position going in to the woods. However, McGee was able to make it up to 2nd place by the end of the first lap. By lap three, he would take over the lead where he would finish up the day, taking home another win.
Madman / Stickman supported rider Hunter Williams was faced with a situation no racer ever wants to be, when his father, Chad Williams was hit by an ATV during the pro ATV race on Saturday. Upon his father's request, Hunter went on to race Sunday where he finished up 7th in the Super Mini (14-15) class. Hunter is currently ranked third in class points. The team would like to wish Chad and the others who were injured during the ATV race a speedy recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.
The Madman / Stickman Team will be back in action in a couple weeks for round 8 of the GNCC series in Ohio. As always we would like to thank the following sponsors for your continued support: Madman Cleaning Solutions, StickmanGraphx.com, Fly Racing, Sunstar, Offroadviking, G2 Ergonomics, Atlas Cycles, Athena, GET, Ulrich Performance, and Unabiker.
