DirtWise Race Report from Rd 2 of the National Enduro Series

Maxxis/KLIM/DirtWise racer Jesse Groemm had what could be called a Championship winning result at Rd. 2 of the National Enduro series held in west Texas in dry, dusty, and sketchy conditions.
Groemm rounded out the event with a solid yet disappointing 7th place finish as he soldiered on throughout the day racing trying to limit the damage of lost points.
"Today I just really struggled with the trail conditions. I'm from Jersey where it is either deep sand or major rock gardens so I basically don't have much experience in these kinds of conditions. I wasn't confident and didn't feel comfortable at all out there, so I just did the best I could and salvaged as many points as possible because they say that a Championship is won on your bad day, and today was bad for me. I hate coming 2nd, let alone 7th, so for the Colorado round I'm for sure heading out there at least a week early to better prepare myself for those kinds of conditions again."
Groemm next tackles Rd. 3 of the GNCC series this weekend near Morganton, NC where he will be shooting for victory in the XC2 Pro class.
