Hey Everyone Its Cody Ruckle with my race report from the 2014 Sandlapper, NEPG in Salley, SC. What a great day for racing!! After a long winter in WV (which is still going on. I came home to 8+ inches of snow), 72 degrees was perfect. 

I was ready to go. I lined up in row 7, which is closer to the front than I like to be in these races. After training for the last 3 months, I felt really good as I headed to the line dressed in my new 2014 FLY gear and helmet. My 2011 YZ 125 was really looking good with my Raines Riding University/Atlas Yamaha/ Offroadviking.com Stickman graphics. My Kenda Millville 2's were ready to tackle the sandy terain of SC. I won my first 3 tests, but during my 4th test, I got lost and ended up in a cotton field and lost a good 30 seconds. A bee also stung me twice on the leg. I finished 2nd in my 5th test and ended my day with a 1st place win in 200 B and 6th in Overall B. Not the overall I was hoping for, but good momentum going into round 1 of GNCC.
