Team Faith Expands GNCC Program

Team Faith is pleased to announce they will be returning to Vendor Row for 2013 GNCC Season. This marks the fifth year that Team Faith has hosted non-denominational chapel services for the GNCC Racin’ Nation!

“The response has been overwhelming,” according to pit pastor Chuck Lemaster. “We saw that God opened the door at the end of the 2008 season for us to come and do ministry. When we first started hosting services, there would sometimes only be a couple people that attended on ATV day. Now ”“ there’s a regular ”˜congregation’ on both ATV and bike days. People have discovered they don’t have to skip church to go racing. God has placed a love for racing in our hearts, and the chapel services on Saturday and Sunday are a way for people to grow in their faith.”Â

For 2013, Team Faith sees a need to expand. Youth racers are often overlooked because they are racing during traditional chapel service times (8:30am). Since GNCC Youth are the future of the sport, several “regular attendees” have approached Team Faith and asked to help build a youth outreach!

Starting March 16th Saturday evening at The General - youth racers are invited to the Team Faith rig at 5:30pm for fun, festivities and a short “life application” message that will challenge and develop them as they become the next generation of the GNCC Racin’ Nation!

The agenda for this inaugural Youth Outreach will be “The GNCC Amazing Race!” All youth ”“ racers, brothers, sisters ”“ are encouraged to attend!
