WNYOA Race to the Peak at Greak Peak Resort

This year will see another great race at the Greek Peak Mountain Resort in Cortland, New York. on the 26th of August.  The race will be round 12 of the WNYOA (Western New York Off-Road Association) series and will include peewee, youth bike, youth quad, adult bike and quads. Â  The Greek Peak Resort is a first class accommodations that includes: an indoor waterpark, outdoor adventure center, spa, restaurants and really nice hotel rooms.  To show their love for racing they are even giving you %25 off on rooms by enter the word scramble when making your reservation.  Too make this even more of an event Chris Borrich and Johnny Gallagher are doing atv riding clinics (separate fee) on Friday and Saturday before the race, so you quad riders can brush up on your skills before the race.  The gates open Saturday morning at 7 AM, plenty of flat gravel parking.  There will be a DJ Saturday night to show off your dancing moves.  Only $10 gets you in the gate and 10 and under are free.  The pros will have dedicated pits with %200 payback for AA bikes and quads, to show their support of the ladies there will also be a cash purse for both the A/B quad and bike classes. Â  The race will use transponder scoring and they can be purchased for only $5 if you need one, it is also AMA and ATVA sanctioned event.  Race fees are only $40 pros, $25 amateur, $15 youth and $10 peewee.  This race will just before the GNCC Unadilla round, so can get your New York race face on early and get a leg up on your competition.  The 9 mile course will have riders traveling up and down the mountain with lots of great spectating for those that only want to watch.  All youth riders will receive a contingency prize.  You can make this a great low cost end of summer event for the family.  The Greek Peak resort is right off I-81 expressway between Binghamton and Syracuse at exit 9.  You get more information on the WNYOA website http://wnyoa.net/ or by calling Ken at 585-297-2742.
