The 2009 JG Off Road / GEICO Powersports team has been set, and we are very excited to announce the line-up.Ã New to the team for this year racing GNCC's, OMA's, and select Endurocrosses - Paul Whibley, Jimmy Jarrett, and Scott Watkins.Ã All three riders will be aboard Kawasakis.

Said JT Bennett, manager, JG Off Road / GEICO Powersports.Ã "We've been working extremely hard over the past 2 years to build a team of this caliber.Ã With this team, I feel we have a solid chance to capture the championship plate in several different off road classes and events."
Paul Whibley, will be chasing down the GNCC championship on his #2 KXF450 in the XC1-Pro class and defending his OMA Championship.Ã Paul is currently back home in New Zealand racing his KXF450 and has won every race he's entered so far.Ã Paul will also attend select Endurocross races.Ã Paul will be starting his US race season February 28-March 3 at the River Ranch GNCC.Ã Congratulations to Paul and Katherine on their upcoming wedding!
Jimmy Jarrett, also contending the GNCC XC-1 Pro class will be aboard the #6.Ã After taking a 2nd place finish in the OMA Series in 2008 will be chasing down Paul for that 2009 championship.Ã You will also be able to find Jimmy and his GEICO KXF450 at the National Enduro Series and select Endurocrosses.Ã Jimmy will be kicking off his season on January 25 in Wedgefield, SC.
Scott Watkins will focus his efforts in the GNCC series in the XC2-Pro Lites class aboard a KXF250.Ã After a rough start to the 2008 season due to an injury, Scott was able to redeem himself with a 4th place class finish and a #15 overall.Ã Scott will also be contending a select Endurocross races.
Team manager JT Bennett will be racing select GNCC with his main focus on the Endurocrosses and National East Harescrambles.Ã JT will remain on Yamaha's for the 2009 season.
Jennifer Albright will be re-joining the team for 2009 in the Women's Quad A class.Ã Jennifer took a 5th place finish in 2009 and is training hard to break into that top 3 in '09.
Chasing down more 2 Stroke Open podiums and the championship, The Rodgers Brothers - Ryan and Eric will also be back on the team for the Endurocross Series.Ã They will also be contending the Expert class and looking to improve their qualifier finishes for more appearances in the Main Event.
