Warnert Racing Can-Am's Chris Bithell won the Can-Am Unadilla GNCC in dramatic fashion, topping KTM's Taylor Kiser and Team Excell Motorsport's Bryan Cook on the podium after Yamaha's Bill Ballance suffered a derailed chain in the final corner of the race.

Bithell's win is his first of the year and the first ever XC2 Pro Overall Win for his team and the Can-Am DS450. Bithell held off Ballance through the last turn to take the win, and then Ballance's machine locked up when his chain came off. Kiser, Cook, and Rockstar Yoshimura Suzuki's Chris Borich got past to relegate Ballance to fifth, as the defending GNCC Champion had to push his machine to the finish line up hill.

GT Thunder Yamaha's Don Ockerman won the XC2 Pro Am Class and also wrapped up the XC2 Class Championship.

Despite rain all weekend, the Unadilla track was actually dusty as the dry weather from the last few weeks managed to prevent the race from becoming a mudder.
