Red Bull KTM sent us a press release today regarding their 2009 off-road teams. Big news involves the official announcement of their GNCC team. Here's a snip from the release.

The Grand National Cross-Country (GNCC) Series will continue to support New York’s Nathan Kanney and will add the 2008 ISDE Team Captain Kurt Caselli. Both riders will compete in the XC-1 class. Kanney who finished on the podium twice so far in the current GNCC Series has steadily improved throughout the season and will be a challenger for the championship in 2009. Caselli, the 2007 AMA Sportsman of the Year and current WORCS Champion will compete alongside Kanney in the highly competitive off-road Series. “I am excited to try another series. My goal is to become the most versatile rider I can be and I believe this series is the next step toward my goal,” commented Caselli. 

KTM has not announced XC2 Lites riders, but rumor has it they will continue to support the class through  satellite support teams. Stay tuned.
