GNCCRacing.com received this letter today:
My name is Jim Conner and I am an avid Off-Road motorcycle racer from Washington State.
This year I have qualified to be part of Team USA at the83rd International Six Day Enduro (ISDE)
I will compete in the C1 class aboard a KTM 250 SXF.
This year the ISDE is being held in Serres, Greece from September 1 -6, the official website is: http://www.isde2008.gr/web/index.php?id=2
For years I have been a huge fan of the International Six Day Enduro, often referred to as the “Olympics of Motorcycling”à . Each year the ISDE is held in a new country, where many countries from around the world gather to compete against each other. The ISDE is a long tough event where riders will ride between 120 and 200 miles per day over varying terrain, this usually equates to 8 hours a day of riding time. Throughout the day riders are timed in special test sections where speed is key. In order to train for this tough event, I am cardio training, riding and weight lifting every day to prepare as best as I can for this tough event.
Sponsors are a big part of helping fund this expensive event. In addition to my wife, kids and Brother, I have to thank the following sponsors for their support:
- Motion Pro (http://www.motionpro.com/)
- MSR (http://www.msracing.com/)
- Moto Pro Suspension (http://www.moto-pro.com/default.asp)
I am attempting to raise funds in order to off-set the high cost of attending this event.
In exchange for a donation to help me get to Greece and represent the US, I will send a souvenir
from the 2008 ISDE to everyone who donates.
If you are interested in helping, please e-mail me, or donate via PayPal, to [email protected]
and be sure to provide me your contact information.
Thank you very much!
Jim Conner
