Things to do this weekend at Big Buck

There's stuff to do outside of the races at the Big Buck. Here's a note from Henry Turner at Big Buck Racing:

FRIDAY NIGHT RACES:

CROSS ANCHOR RACEWAY will have their regular schedule of kart racing. They
usually have about 150 entries, admission is $5.00, $10.00 if it's a money
race. Gates open 5:30pm, races start 8pm.

Directions from Big Buck: out the gate turn right on Hwy. 49South,
immediately turn right on Blackstock Battleground Rd. At stop sign turn
left on Hwy. 56, about one mile on right. Total distance 3 miles.

UNION COUNTY SPEEDWAY will have their regular schedule of dirt cars racing
on their newly modernized 3/8 mile red clay oval . Racing starts 7pm.
Directions from Big Buck: out the gate turn left on Hwy. 49North towards
Union. At first STOP LIGHT turn left on Duncan By-Pass. Turn left on Hwy.
215 towards Buffalo, SC. (KFC is on the right at this intersection) Go
through Buffalo, then about 2 miles on left.

SATURDAY:

TURKEY STRUT & CHICKEN PICKIN' FESTIVAL
This festival is being held by the Cross Anchor, Cross Keys, & Sedalia
Community Clubs. Lots of activities & entertainment.
Directions from Big Buck: out the gate turn left on Hwy. 49North towards
Union. About 1/4 mile on the right.

They will have bands playing until about 9pm Sat. night.
