By lap three today, David Knight had left Travis Pastrana and went after Nathan Kanney for the lead. Once he had it he started pulling away at a wild rate, lapping two minutes faster than everyone else. Kanney is now hanging on to second with a fierce battle behind him. Barry Hawk moved all the way to third, then pitted and had Jimmy Jarrett and Garrett Edmisten get by him. The three are very close and are closing on Kanney in a fight for second. Charlie Mullins dented his pipe and fell back outside the top ten and is clawing his way forward.

In XC2 Thad DuVall is out front of Josh Weisenfels, but Andrew Matusek is turning fast lap times in third.

White flag is now out and Knighter looks good, now Jarrett is up to second with Kanney third, Edmisten fourth and Hawk fifth. Pastrana grabbed a fresh new camelback and is still soldiering on hoping to finish. He's still inside the top ten.
