Powerline Park hosted it’s 18th Annual GNCC race, which saw FMF/KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell secure his sixth-consecutive GNCC XC1 National Championship.
Walker Fowler Earns Fourth GNCC ATV National ChampionshipOctober 14, 2018The twelfth round of the 2018 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship, took place Saturday, October 13, in St. Clairsville, Ohio for the 18th Annual Powerline Park GNCC. After early morning rain showers the day was met with overcast skies and temperatures in the mid-forties, which did not offer much time for the track to dry out.
Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Mason-Dixon GNCC Women’s Race ReportOctober 8, 2018The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Mason-Dixon GNCC, round eleven of the 2018 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship, took place on September 29th and 30th. Though technically a new addition to the series, the Mason-Dixon takes place on Mathews Farm, an old stomping ground of the series. The last GNCC on the property took place in 2003, which means the woods had time to recover for this year’s event.

Cole Richardson Earns First Win at Mason-Dixon GNCCSeptember 30, 2018Racing returned to Matthews Farm for the first time in fifteen years on Saturday, September 29 for round eleven of the 2018 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship. Although weather impacted the region earlier in the week with rain, the stage was set for an incredible race day that would offer those in competition a tough course that spanned nearly twelve miles. With an historic return and a great turnout, a win here was one worth fighting for.
AMSOIL Snowshoe GNCC Women’s Race ReportJuly 2, 2018On the weekend of June 23 and 24, the ninth round of the 2018 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship took place at the Snowshoe Mountain Resort. Snowshoe is one of the more gnarly races on the GNCC circuit, as well as one of the toughest courses in the country. In a throwback to the famed Blackwater 100, the start is a live-engine downhill start on the main street of Snowshoe village.

After an abundance of rain showers fell throughout the weekend, the rough and rugged conditions created grueling track that lived up to the nickname of “America’s Toughest Race.” When the checkered flag flew after three hours of intense racing it was FMF/KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell taking home the coveted win.
Chris Borich Conquers Snowshoe Mountain For First Win of 2018 SeasonJune 24, 2018The AMSOIL Snowshoe event is one of the most anticipated rounds of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship, and this year it was no different. This event is a tribute race dedicated to the infamous and legendary Blackwater 100 as it honors that historical race each year. With an abundance of rainfall prior to the race, and on-and-off showers through the race, the GNCC ATV riders would try and conquer a very wet and treacherous mountain.
Dunlop Tomahawk GNCC Women’s Race ReportJune 18, 2018Round eight of the 2018 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship took place on June 9th and 10th in Odessa, New York. The Dunlop Tomahawk is best known for its long, sweeping grass track sections, which usually get dusty. However, there are sections of loose rock on the hills that riders climb, and there are plenty of exposed tree roots as well.

Round eight of the 2018 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series was greeted with more than perfect racing conditions as temperatures were in the mid-60’s and a cool breeze descended upon Seneca Highlands. FMF/KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell returned to the center of the podium for his first-ever victory at the Dunlop Tomahawk GNCC.
