Cunningham used the horsepower and 4x4 capabilities of his Can-Am Renegade ATV to his advantage in the mud, winning by more than a minute. With his five wins and six podium finishes in six GNCC rounds this year, Cunningham owns a sizable 38-point lead heading into round seven of the GNCC ATV series.

Overall conditions were some of the worst to race in due to the amount of soft and slick mud. GNCC shortened the course to four laps of seven miles, where lap times ranged between 24 and 26 minutes for top riders.
