Factory FMF KTM Racing Team’s Kailub Russell Overtakes the GNCC Points Lead With a Big Win at SnowshoeJune 28, 2016FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell reclaimed the XC1 Pro Overall points lead on Sunday after an impressive victory at Round 9 of the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series. Additionally, Westfield Powersports/KTM-Supported rider Jordan Ashburn finished 3rd in the XC1 Pro Class after three grueling hours of racing.
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Josh Strang Finishes 5th in XC1 Pro ClassJune 28, 2016The Snowshoe GNCC, Round 9, took place this past weekend in Snowshoe, WV. Leading up to the race, there was a big storm, that dropped about 4 inches of rain, causing havoc in the surrounding areas. Fortunate for the racers, the event is held on top a mountain and most of the rain was able to run off. The repercussions were small, as it only caused standing water and slick conditions but the course was still raceable.
Kailub Russell Tops AMSOIL Snowshoe GNCCJune 27, 2016Snowshoe Mountain hosted the ninth round of the 2016 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, this past Sunday, June 26. The rough and rugged conditions created a grueling track for the AMSOIL Snowshoe GNCC that lived up to the nickname of “America’s Toughest Race.” After three hours of intense racing it was FMF/KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell taking home the coveted win and earning his sixth win of the season.
Adam McGill Scores Big at the AMSOIL Snowshoe GNCCJune 25, 2016The 2016 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, continued today, June 25, with the AMSOIL Snowshoe GNCC held at the popular Snowshoe Mountain Resort in West Virginia. “America’s toughest race” lived up to its nickname after an abundant amount of rain fell in the days prior to the race creating slick and muddy conditions for the world’s fastest off-road ATV racers.
ISDE Golf Tournament UpdateJune 24, 2016ISDE Golf Tournament is on!!! Now scheduled for 1:00 PM with registration open at 11:00 AM at the Raven Golf Club. Access the Raven Golf Club from the South side of the mountain (Route 66). Coming from Elkins follow the detour thru Snowshoe and back off the mountain to Route 66. If you are currently at the resort go south on Snowshoe Drive (opposite the GNCC front gate) to access Route 66.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: SNOWSHOE TRAVEL INFORMATIONJune 23, 2016This weekend's GNCC event will proceed as scheduled. Major roadways in both Randolph and Pocahontas counties are open. Travelers are urged to use caution as some mud and debris are to be expected on roadways.

Most everyone will agree that Snowshoe is one of the most excellent ways to end the first part of the GNCC Racing season. What better place to spend a weekend together than one of the finest ski resorts the United States has to offer, and on top of that, ending the first part of the season with a bang on the toughest GNCC course of the season is always great as well.
