• Trevor Bollinger's JNCC Trip - Day FourNovember 6, 2016It's here – It's finally race day! We got to the track fairly early and we were all surprised by how many people were in attendance. Their version of our 10 a.m. race had over 400 riders in it! The mayor of Omachi City was also on the property and Trevor spoke at the riders meeting right after he did. Hide translated once again so that everyone could understand.
• Trevor Bollinger's JNCC Trip - Day ThreeNovember 5, 2016Last night we arrived at the hotel after dark, so I was completely surprised when I woke up and saw what is referred to as the Japanese Alps right outside my hotel window. It was just like the scene out of The Sound of Music where the snow-covered mountains are in the distance and it’s simply breathtaking. To top it off we had breakfast overlooking this view, too! So far majority of our meals have been buffet style, so we have had plenty of opportunities to try new things. Most of the time we don't even know what it is we are eating, but we try it anyways!
• Trevor Bollinger’s JNCC Trip – Day TwoNovember 4, 2016We woke up bright and early on Thursday morning so we could get to the test track and start preparing for this weekend. The hotel had complimentary breakfast so we had a quick bite to eat before we loaded up. I was amazed that we had rice for breakfast too, but probably the most interesting thing we had for breakfast was spoiled beans. Although the may have not been the greatest, the rest of the food was delicious.
• Quick Fill #40: This Week in GNCCNovember 3, 2016Welcome to Quick Fill. Well, that’s officially a wrap on the 2016 GNCC Racing season. It’s hard to believe that this season has already come and gone, as it seems like we were just kicking off the 2016 season in Florida a few days ago. However, that’s now been 243 days! All said an done, the 2016 GNCC Racing season was 239 day journey with 13, 19.5, 26 or 39 hours of racing, depending on which race of the weekend you take part in. It’s anywhere between 375 to nearly 1,000 miles of racing, once again depending on which race you partake in.

• Trevor Bollinger’s JNCC Trip – Day OneNovember 3, 2016After months of counting down the days until we leave for the Japan National Cross Country (JNCC) race, the time has finally arrived and before I knew it I was on the 4:30 a.m. shuttle to the Pittsburgh airport. As if that wasn’t early enough, somehow I managed to check in and go through security in a total of 15 minutes, yes 15 minutes. With that being said, that means I had a very boring two hours in what I believe was the most uncomfortable terminal chairs ever.
