Walker Fowler Takes First Win of the 2017 GNCC Series in South CarolinaMarch 6, 2017After a four-month hiatus, the 2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, picked back up this past weekend, March 4, in Union, South Carolina. For the first time ever, the Big Buck GNCC served as the season opener for the 13-round series, only adding to the nerves and excitement that is associated with the first round.
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team Has Challenging Start to GNCC SeasonMarch 6, 2017The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Off-road team made their way to the first GNCC of 2017 at Big Buck in South Carolina. The course was about 12 miles long with lap times running around the 28-minute mark for top riders. Conditions were really dusty and dry. This caused a lot of vision and passing issues.

FMF KTM Factory Racing Team’s Kailub Russell earned a podium position, finishing 2nd overall behind KTM-Supported rider Steward Baylor Jr. at Round 1.

Steward Baylor Takes First Career Win at VP Racing Fuels Big Buck GNCCMarch 5, 2017The second day of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, racing action took place today, March 5, at the Big Buck Farm in Union, South Carolina. Warm, sunny conditions greeted the 1 p.m. pro bike race as they lined up on the starting line.
After a four-month hiatus, anticipation was at all-time high when the famed “10 seconds” was called and the green flag waved for the VP Racing Fuels Big Buck GNCC season opener. Rockstar Energy/Factory Husqvarna Racing’s Josh Strang found himself in a favorable position where he jumped out to the quick lead and claimed the All Balls Racing $250 Holeshot Award.
