Coastal Racing/Husqvarna's Jack Edmondson Earns Fourth-Consecutive Victory at Steele Creek GNCCApril 11, 2017Husqvarna-backed Coastal Racing Team's Jack Edmondson extended his FMF XC3 125 Pro-Am win streak to four-in-a-row on Sunday at Round 4 of the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series. Craig DeLong earned his third podium of the season with a strong 2nd place finish in the XC2 250 Pro (16-24) class, while teammate Layne Michael salvaged a 5th place finish after riding the last two laps without a clutch due to an encounter with a tree while leading the race.
Rocky Mountain ATV*MC/KR4/Husqvarna Team Race Report: Steele CreekApril 11, 2017The Rocky Mountain ATV*MC / KR4 / Husqvarna Team battled well at Round 4 of the GNCC series at Steele Creek. The team of 18 joined over 1,000 bikes to do battle in the sun and warm temperatures Sunday. Teammates Hunter Neuwirth and Brandon Keegan celebrated their birthdays on Friday and both got 3rd place podium finishes on Sunday.
Coastal Racing ATV Team Report: Steele Creek GNCCApril 11, 2017Round 4 of the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series headed to Morganton, North Carolina over the weekend and the Coastal Racing/Answer/Maxxis/Waynesburg Yamaha ATV Team emerged with three top-five finishes. XC1 Pro ATV racer Brycen Neal earned his third podium finish of the season with 3rd overall, while Drew Landers made it three-in-a-row with a big victory in the College A (16-21) class.

Each lap ran around 12 miles with average top lap times of 27 minutes.

KTM-Supported rider Steward Baylor Jr. joined Russell atop the overall podium once again with a solid 3rd place finish after coming through the pack from a bad start.

Kailub Russell Comes Out On Top with FMF Steele Creek GNCC Overall WinApril 9, 2017The fourth round of the 2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, took place today, April 9, at the scenic Steele Creek Campground in Morganton, North Carolina, with the 18th Annual FMF Steele Creek GNCC. With a mix of sun and warm temperatures the groundwork was laid for one of the best races thus far in the season. At the end of the grueling three-hour race it was FMF/KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell who claimed the overall win.

Walker Fowler Returns to the Center of the Box at the FMF Steele Creek GNCCApril 8, 2017The 2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, continued today, April 8, with the 18th Annual FMF Steele Creek GNCC located at the popular Steele Creek Campground in Morganton, North Carolina. Rain from earlier in the week left the track a bit muddy to begin the day, but it did not take long for the conditions to turn around and create a near perfect race track by the time the 1 p.m. pro race headed to the start line.

This time we head to scenic western North Carolina for this weekend’s FMF Steele Creek GNCC. This event has become a staple on the GNCC tour and often sees a huge turnout of racers and fans alike. The town of Morganton, North Carolina really gets into the event and it seems like everyone around town knows it’s time to go racing because we’ve been asked about the track pretty much everywhere we’ve been this week!
