Walker Fowler Charges into AMSOIL Ironman GNCC, While Jarrod McClure Looks to Stop the Three-Time Champion’s SuccessOctober 23, 2017The motorsports-crazed town of Crawfordsville, Indiana will host the thirteenth and final round of the 2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship. This weekend, October 28 and 29, will play host to the 23rd Annual AMSOIL Ironman GNCC where the entire ATV XC1 Pro field will look to stop WFR/Yamaha/Maxxis/Fly Racing’s Walker Fowler from capping off his record breaking season with another win.

Another week ticks by and we’re one week closer to the final round of the 2017 season at Ironman. I feel like I’m sitting here about to just reiterate the same things I’ve been saying for weeks but it all holds true. Those things are, for one, it seems like this season has flown by and secondly, Ironman is the absolute perfect place to cap off the season. It’s grown from a single off-road race, to a full-blown festival of sorts and the perfect ending to a great season.

The race consisted of seven tests as opposed to the usual six.

An awesome track was laid out at the Burts Farm venue and the sun was out with clear blue skies. We returned from the States early to attend the service for Ritchie Ebbett. A close friend and title sponsor of the NZXC Series. A moment silence was held at briefing to remember a great man who was lost way too early.

Tuesday Toolbox: Nate RigginsOctober 18, 2017Nate Riggins is a 33-year-old from Chesapeake, Virginia. He competes in the 30+ C ATV class, on a heavily modified 2006 Yamaha YZ 450cc. Why heavily modified? Because following a street bike accident almost a decade ago, Nate lost the use of his right arm. He actually did not start racing until after his injury, and is a true enthusiast, riding anything and everything he can get his hand on! While Nate was unable to compete for most of this year, he ran a majority of the series in 2016 and plans to return for the full 2018 season.
