The 48 year-old, from Indianola, Iowa got started racing in a fairly roundabout way, but took to it like a fish to water. He and his son have been racing GNCCs off and on since 2012, and it sounds like there is still plenty of GNCC racing in both of their futures!

The Mason-Dixon GNCC has rain leading up to the race, allowing for perfect conditions with little to no dust. The course was about 14 miles long with lap-times rounding out at 33 minutes.

This weekend we roll into the first-ever Mason-Dixon GNCC, which will be taking place on two former GNCC properties. It’s a bit unfortunate that it has been raining a bit on and off this week and it’s going to make for some wet conditions this weekend, but we hope that things just get better as the weekend goes on. The current forecast says we’re just about done with the rain and we’re looking to a good weekend forecast. It is going to be wet and slick but this is a fun course for sure, and a long one at that!
