Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Thad Duvall rounded out the first corner in second. He crashed hard going into the second turn, which put him in last, 30-seconds from the group. Duvall gained momentum and by race mile three was in seventh place, moving to third by the end of lap one. Throughout the next three laps he finished in the top spot. As lap five rounded out, he had been passed for the lead, but raced aggressively to take the top spot again, which caused him to win the overall in the XC1 Pro class!
