Local School to Host GNCC Racing On-Track Program
Off-Road Racers Teach Important Anti-Bullying Lessons to Kids

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (April 17, 2018) – This weekend the GNCC Racing Series returns to Moree’s Sportsman’s Preserve for AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Racing, but before the motorcycles and ATVs are fired up for this weekend’s competition, a handful of racers will deliver an important message to local kids. This Friday the Rosenwald Elementary and Middle School in Society Hill, South Carolina will host the GNCC Racing On-Track School Program.

The GNCC Racing On-Track Program is a free school program that focuses on goal setting, perseverance, motorcycle safety and anti-bullying. The presentation is centered around the same ideas taught in school, but the message is delivered to students in a new and unique way making it a hit with the kids. At the end of the assembly the students get to meet the racers and receive a FREE admission ticket to the race.

All 150 school students in grades 5th through 8th are invited to attend the program, set for 1:30 pm Friday afternoon.

The racers are in town for the 3rd Annual CST Tires Camp Coker Bullet GNCC Race to be held at Moree’s Sportsman’s Preserve. The weekend race schedule features four-wheeled ATV racing on Saturday and two-wheeled motorcycle racing on Sunday. Youth racing begins at 8 a.m., amateur racing at 10 a.m. and Pro racing at 1 p.m. both days. Saturday afternoon will also feature Side-by-Side racing at 4 p.m.

Weekend spectator passes run $20 for adults and $10 for children (6-11), and kids five and under are free for the full weekend (Friday through Sunday), with pro pit access and pro autographs at no additional charge.
