Dave Plavi stated:

“It was a really big day for us” “We got the hole shot from the seventh row, and just started charging. I was trying to be  cautious because the track was really rough. We just picked our lines right, made the right moves and battled to the front. We changed the set up on the Wicked Bilt Can-am and I only drove it for fifteen minutes the day before the race. But the changes were huge and the car worked really well. This was a brutal race, the PR2 Racing Technology products, along with the GBC tires  outfitted with TireBlocks made the car handle like a dream!”

The No. 591 machine of Steve Matko was putting on a good run, until the terrain took a toll on his UTV ending his race early.

Team mate Steve Matko was running in the top tier of the XC1 ranks, when the brutal terrain of the track took its toll on the No. 591 ending his race early along with over 20 others out of the XC1 class.
