From the desert to the woods, Motorcycle Superstore's off-road riders keep putting their custom Bell Moto 9 helmets on the podium weekend after weekend. Jacob Argubright, Charlie Mullins and Kacy Martinez all came away with solid second place finishes at the AMA National Hare & Hound and at the GNCC Series.
Jacob Argubright
Round 4 of the National Hare & Hound series took place in Lucerne Valley, CA this past Sunday and Factory Husqvarna pilot Jacob Argubright put in another solid performance. “I had a great start and battled for the lead multiple times, and I had a small crash that didn't help. Racing conditions were awesome, the wind cleared the dust and made a great day for racing with my fellow competitors."
"This makes two second place finishes in a row, so I'm ready for an overall win."
Charlie Mullins
While the National Hare & Hound was finishing in California, Round 4 of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series was starting in Union, South Carolina. Charlie Mullins was once again at the front of the pack battling for the lead, finishing the race with a second overall. "This was a tough race and I kept making little mistakes," explained Mullins. "I had some issues with a lapper and smacked my hand on a tree pretty good, it was hard for me to make up any time."
Husquvarna's Andrew DeLong also had a great ride, finishing one spot off the podium in fourth while factory KTM's Kacy Martinez was a bit off her game breaking her streak of first place finishes as she settled for second behind Jessica Patterson.
Both riders from the Maxxis/KLIM/DirtWise KTM Race team also had top ten finishes; Jason Thomas took eighth in the XC1 class and Jesse Groemm finished fifth in the XC2 class.
