Darrell Bozarth was a big part of the sport that we all dearly love. He was one of the main reasons Don Ockerman & Brent Foltz both got into XC racing. He was taken from us on August 14, 2012 at a very young age of 44.  Darrell loved the outdoors in every since and spend the majority of his time in the woods or on the water.  Darrell was into racing in Indiana before it became what it is today.  There were very limited options on where you would race when he was racing so you could find him battling it out in one of the Vet classes at the nationals.  He did a great job of representing his sponsors as well and that is why he had such a big hand in the success of both Donnie and Brent’s racing careers.  If you met Darrell then you liked Darrell, that’s just the kind of guy he was.  Always willing to lend hand, make you smile, and have a good time!  It is a shame that Darrell and Brent have both been taken away from this earth so soon but we know that they are able to share some more seat time together now.  Please come out and show your support for both families who have lost a loved one and both are people who will never be forgotten in the racing community.
