Tuesday Toolbox: Grayson EllerSeptember 15, 2020Grayson Eller is the current Amateur overall points leader. I interviewed him prior to the summer break, but due to the hectic summer schedule here at Racer Productions, his interview never got posted, but late is better than never! He is 21 years old, from Salisbury, North Carolina. He also competes in the Pro-Am class in the ATV MX series – it is only recently that he began really focusing on GNCC racing, but so far he’s been pretty successful at it!
Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Mountaineer: Motorcycle Race ReportSeptember 14, 2020The Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Specialized, an AMA National Championship, continued Sunday, September 13, as the motorcycles took to the woods of West Virginia. Round 9, the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Mountaineer, took place at Summit Bechtel Reserve in Beckley, WV. Cloudy conditions made for a great weekend of racing, even with some showers taking place on Sunday afternoon’s Pro race.
Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Mountaineer: ATV Race ReportSeptember 13, 2020The Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Specialized, an AMA National Championship, kicked off round nine, the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Mountaineer GNCC, yesterday. The Mountaineer GNCC, held at Summit Bechtel Reserve in Beckley, WV, played host to the event with West Virginia’s own McGill Mafia/Obor Tires/LSR/Moose Racing’s Adam McGill taking the overall victory after two-hours of action-packed racing.

Tuesday Toolbox: Ryder SigetySeptember 8, 2020Ryder Sigety hails from New Jersey, and currently races in the 65cc (10-11) bike youth class. Ryder had a bit of a late start to the season, missing the first four rounds of racing. However, since he began racing at round 5 in South Carolina he has clinched each class win. Ryder currently sits eighth in his classes points standings, but he is aiming to continue his winning ways this fall.
Competition Bulletin 2020-11: Micro Racing Added to Burr Oak GNCC and Race Times ReversedSeptember 2, 2020Recently Round 10 of the GNCC Series was moved from Snowshoe, WV to Millfield, Ohio for the Burr Oak GNCC on September 26-27. The previously scheduled Snowshoe round featured eMTB racing but not Micro 50cc racing, as the venue was not suitable for Micro racing.
RLT Competition Bulletin 2020-17: Updates to Pro Motocross and GNCC SchedulesAugust 21, 2020Earlier Snowshoe Mountain Resort, the location of the 10th round of the GNCC Racing Series, notified the GNCC Racing Series that due to COVID19 concerns, it will not be able to host the Snowshoe GNCC scheduled for September 26/27. Accordingly, the September 26/27 GNCC Race has been moved to Millfield, Ohio for the Burr Oaks GNCC. This is the same location as the John Penton GNCC previously held on June 27/28.
Tuesday Toolbox: Tayla JonesAugust 18, 2020Multi-time GNCC WXC champion Tayla Jones has had a busy summer break. The Australian native has been living in and racing here in the states since 2017 and has been one of the most successful female off-road racers in recent memory. But she can do far more than win GNCCs, as she has proven in the last couple weeks.

Tuesday Toolbox: Nate FerdererAugust 11, 2020Nate Ferderer is the epitome of the weekend warrior. The 28-year old from Minneapolis faces 18-hour-plus one-way drives for every race and is expected back at Hypertherm bright and early Monday morning, where he works as a mechanical engineer. Ferderer currently sits in fourth in the FMF XC3 class, especially impressive given his other obligations and the fact that this is his first year pursuing the GNCC series!
Loretta Lynn’s Specialized Turbo eMTB Race ReportAugust 10, 2020Round five of the Specialized Turbo eMTB GNCC National Championship Series took place August 1st in conjunction with the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship. In addition to being round five of the series, the Loretta’s race also served as the first-ever FIM North American eMTB championship.
