This was the first time our GNCC series visited the Moree Hunting Preserve and Mother Nature fired the first shot of excitement. Mackenzie Tricker would exit the first turn near the front of the field and would be in 2nd place at the end of first lap.

Matko starting from deep in the field of 29 XC1 cars was held back by slower competition, finally picking through to the 6th position by the end of lap 1. The 591 Can-Am Maverick gained time on the leaders, until the SC sand, caused a problem. Matko had to back it down to a brisk trail riding pace, to finish out in 3rd for the day!
