Quick Fill #3: This Week in GNCCJanuary 21, 2016Hopefully as you’re reading this you’ve not been set into a full-blown panic mode due to the winter storm threatening a large part of the eastern United States. If you don’t have milk and bread at home, you’re probably out of luck because my guess is that about 95% of stores who carry those items are completely wiped out. The good news is that those who are down south getting in some off-season training, well, you guys are lucky enough to miss all the mayhem. For those of us who aren’t, well, let’s not hold any grudges!

Quick Fill #2: This Week in GNCCJanuary 14, 2016Chances are if you’re reading this today, you didn’t score big on the $1.5 Billion Powerball. Don’t feel bad, neither did I, nor a lot of other people. I saw a lot of chatter on social media about “if I won the Powerball, I would…” and there were definitely some pretty creative ones. I really liked the people who mentioned ways they would give back to the sport, and it was also cool to see some folks say that they wouldn’t change much about their daily lives.

The weeks still continue to tick away as we work closer and closer to the beginning of the 2016 GNCC season. The good news is, we’re now officially into the New Year and that means that we’re starting to see the final off-season preparations beginning to take place. From here, it becomes all about riding and off-season racing as the winter break starts to wind down. In fact, there’s already been some racing going on and we’ll have some more details on that a little later.
