The Palmetto State weather treated racers to perfect race conditions at the popular Big Buck Farm. At the end of the three-hour race it would be FMF/KTM Factory Racing’s Kailub Russell claiming the overall win followed by JCR Honda/Lucas Oil/Maxxis/FLY Racing’s Chris Bach and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing/Bel-Ray’s Josh Strang.

JMR's Jarrod McClure Podiums at Big Buck GNCCApril 22, 2016JMR / ATVriders.com rider Jarrod McClure returned to the podium at round four of the Grand National Cross Country Series this past weekend in Union, South Carolina. Jarrod battled through the dusty conditions all day to secure third overall in the XC1 Pro Class. JMR teammate Randy Hamilton pulled his third consecutive holeshot in the XC2 Pro Am class and finished seventh for the day.

Hopefully by this point in the week everyone has been able to clean themselves up from all the dust and are ready to push forward to the next event. Big Buck was a bit on the dry side and while a little rain wouldn’t have hurt anything, at least we weren’t racing in the mud! Unless you like that, then, well, sorry it didn’t rain! The dust was possibly one of the biggest stories of the weekend and it added yet another challenge to the race itself. However, I saw less riders with goggles off than I have in a long time, so if nothing else, it was easy on goggles!

Team UXC Race Report: Big Buck GNCCApril 21, 2016Dry and dusty seemed to be the theme for Round 4 of the GNCC race this past weekend at the Big Buck Farm in Union, South Carolina. The track was flat and fast which allowed racers to open up their machines to maximum speeds creating a dusty scene.
