This weekend's GNCC event will proceed as scheduled. Major roadways in both Randolph and Pocahontas counties are open.

Travelers are urged to use caution as some mud and debris are to be expected on roadways. Guests traveling from the south should use Rt. 219 north from Lewisburg.

The White Sulphur Springs and Richwood areas should be avoided. Those with plans for traveling to Snowshoe from the west via Rt. 39 through Richwood should find an alternate route to the north (Elkins) or the south(Lewisburg).

The forecast for the weekend looks fantastic, with minimal chances of additional
rain.
