Quick Fill #20: This Week in GNCCMay 19, 2016Welcome to Quick Fill. Round six is in the books as the 2016 GNCC Racing season continues to push forward. This year’s Limestone 100 GNCC was nothing short of challenge for just about everyone. Rain in the week prior to the race saturated the track and made for a fairly tough and muddy race throughout the whole weekend. Even though the last bit of rain fell Friday night, it was still wet enough that even the bike races on Sunday saw a bit of mud, even with a good bit of sun helping to dry things out. By no means was it a full-blown mud race, but it added a challenge for sure.
Coastal Racing's Craig DeLong Extends XC2 Pro Lites Podium Streak to Four-in-a-Row With 2nd Place Finish at Limestone 100 GNCCMay 18, 2016Husqvarna-backed Coastal Racing's Craig DeLong extended his podium streak to four-in-a-row on Sunday with a 2nd place finish in the XC2 Pro Lites Class for round six of the 2016 Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series. DeLong's impressive performance at the Limestone 100 also serves as his sixth consecutive top-five finish, where he remains the only XC2 Pro Lites rider to finish inside the top five at every round thus far.

XC Racing News: Limestone 100 GNCCMay 17, 2016The Limestone 100 was round 6 of the 2016 Grand National Cross Country Series season. It was located at the Lawrence County Recreation Park in Springville, Indiana which is owned and operated by ABATE. This was the fourth year GNCC has held an event at LCRP and the racing action didn’t disappoint.
Kailub Russell Secures Fourth Consecutive Victory at the Limestone 100 GNCCMay 17, 2016FMF KTM Factory Team rider Kailub Russell captured his fourth consecutive victory of the season on Sunday at Round 6 of the 2016 Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series in Springville, Indiana. After three grueling hours of battle, Russell executed an impressive last-lap pass on Josh Strang to ultimately secure the lead just moments before the checkered flag.
Can-Am Renegade ATV Racers Go 1-2 at Limestone 100 GNCCMay 17, 2016Can-Am X-Team racer Jordan Phillips won the 10 a.m. overall and the 4x4 Pro class at the Limestone 100 Grand National Cross Country race in Springville, Ind. Fellow Can-Am Renegade 4x4 ATV racer Robert Smith joined Phillips on both the overall and class podiums, giving Can-Am a 1-2 finish on the day.
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Josh Strang A Close Second at GNCC Round 6May 17, 2016The Limestone 100 GNCC, Round 6, took place this past weekend in in Springville, IN. The course was short compared the usual GNCC courses. It was roughly 9 miles long which usually makes for tight, intense racing. Due to the rain leading up to the event and a small storm that passed through Friday night, the course was very soft and muddy in some areas, leading to a small reroute of the course.
