As the days continue to tick by, so does the GNCC summer break. We’re still early in this break and have a ways to go before we head to the final four rounds of the 2018 season. However, it’s never too early to start thinking about the final rounds and the racing those rounds could produce. These final rounds are always a push towards the championship for many riders. Just because you head into summer break in a different position than where you want to be, doesn’t mean a championship is absolutely out of reach. Many times these final rounds play the biggest factor in deciding a championship.

I stopped to take with Stefy at Snowshoe regarding her career, both as a racer and CEO, and the relationship between eBikes and the GNCC series.

Walker Fowler Race Report: Snowshoe GNCCJuly 2, 2018The Snowshoe GNCC is one of the most anticipated stops on the 13-round circuit. The race is modeled after the famed Blackwater 100 and features a unique live-engine start on the road, in addition to the renown Howard’s Hole and other distinct course features. Heading into the ninth round, Fowler had a comfortable cushion in the championship standings and knew he just had to finish the race to head into summer break in a good position.

AMSOIL Snowshoe GNCC Women’s Race ReportJuly 2, 2018On the weekend of June 23 and 24, the ninth round of the 2018 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship took place at the Snowshoe Mountain Resort. Snowshoe is one of the more gnarly races on the GNCC circuit, as well as one of the toughest courses in the country. In a throwback to the famed Blackwater 100, the start is a live-engine downhill start on the main street of Snowshoe village.

With the conclusion of the Snowshoe GNCC this past weekend, that means we roll into the summer break. It’s hard to believe we’ve already completed nine rounds in the 2018 season but that first part of the season is in the books and just four rounds remain. Of course, we’ve got some time off before those final four rounds and it gives some folks the opportunity to hit the reset button and get ready for a final push towards a championship.
Can-Am ATV Racers Victorious in West VirginiaJune 27, 2018an-Am ATV and side-by-side vehicle racers earned numerous podiums and class wins in two different series this past weekend in Missouri and West Virginia. The side-by-side vehicle pilots earned two podium sweeps in the Turbo Production UTV class at rounds four and five of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series this past weekend in Wheatland, Mo. Can-Am ATV racers won five classes at the Snowshoe Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series in West Virginia.
